VOUCHERS FOR PUBLISHING IN OPEN ACCESS IN HYBRID JOURNALS FROM ELSEVIER IN 2026

ScienceDirect license agreement with Elsevier for the year 2026 enables corresponding authors to publish unlimited number of articles free of charge in open access in approx. 1.640 hybrid journals from the publisher. Vouchers cannot be used for publications in Cell Press, The Lancet, and journals of certain partner publishers or associations.

Vouchers do not apply to gold open access journals.

General Terms and Conditions:

•  vouchers can be used for articles accepted for publication in 2026,

• to be eligible for the University of Primorska voucher, the corresponding author must be from the University of Primorska and must provide the correct institutional details,
• the author must identify himself with the official email address (.upr.si) of the University of Primorska,
• the author selects the open access option within the consortium in the publisher’s system.

Vouchers are valid for the following types of publications in the publisher’s hybrid journals: Case reports, Data in Briefs, Full-length articles, Micro-articles, Original software publication, Practice guidelines, Protocols, Review articles, Replication studies, Short communications, Short surveys, Video articles.
