Reservation Policy

Reservation Policy at the University Library

Reservation of library material

UP UK members can reserve library materials that are free or currently on loan to another user. Reservations can be made via My Library, mobile app COBISS Plus or in person at the library. A member can reserve a maximum of 5 titles at a time. When the reserved material is available, the member is notified via the selected channel. The material is waiting for collection for a maximum of 3 working days. If the member does not collect the material within the deadline, the cost of the uncollected reservation will be charged according to the valid Price List.

Reservation of information and communication technology equipment

Borrowing of library laptops can be reserved via the COBISS Plus system. Reservations can be made up to 12 hours before the scheduled pick-up. Priority for loan is given to full-time UP students. Laptops can be picked up and returned exclusively at the library desk during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00–15:45).

Prohibition of reserving a spot in the reading rooms

Reading rooms at UP UK cannot be reserved. Users may not reserve a spot by placing their items on a table. Library staff will remove such items. Reading rooms are intended for ongoing use in accordance with their intended purpose (quiet study, group work, etc.).

By adhering to these rules, we ensure fair and equal access to library resources and facilities for all users.
