INVITATION TO A LITERARY-SCIENTIFIC EVENING WITH ALENKA MALEJ

On Thursday, 16 November 2023, at 19.00, we invite you to a literary-scientific evening, which will take place in the premises of the UP University Library (Trubarjeva 1, 6000 Koper). Dr. Alenka Malej will present her work, experiences, challenges and much more. The conversation will be moderated in Slovenian by Jasna Janež Markič.

Alenka Malej is the director of the institut M-Aleja Koper, a professor of mathematics, has a doctorate from information management and years of experience in education and economy. After her doctorate, she got a job in the field of marketing and consulting in informatics. She taught mathematics at Gymnasium Koper, worked as a developer and lecturer in Koper Experiment Center and cooperated with various public and private educational institutions. She organises robotics workshops for children. In 2013 she received the Prometheus of Science awards for excellence in communication, awarded by the Slovenian Science Foundation.
