PUBLIC CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PUŠNIK AWARDS OF THE SSOZ FOR 2026
The Slovenian Open Science Community (SSOZ) has published a public call for proposals for the the Pušnik Awards for 2026.
The Pušnik Awards of the SSOZ are awarded to individuals, groups or organisations that, in the last three years, have exceeded legal requirements in their work in the field of open science, demonstrate excellence and significantly contribute to the development and implementation of open science in Slovenia. They are named after Mag. Miro Pušnik, who was one of the key advocates of open science in Slovenia.
The awards are awarded in three categories:
- Award for promising beginnings in open science – for researchers up to seven years after their doctorate with visible achievements in the field of open science.
- Award for exceptional achievements in open science – for individuals, groups or organisations with outstanding contributions to the development of open science.
- Open Science Support Award – for individuals or organisations in supporting roles with an exceptional impact on the implementation of open science principles.
Proposals should be sent to the email address: info@odprtaznanost.si with the caption “ Pušnikova priznanja SSOZ 2026 – predlog”. The deadline for submitting completed forms is 15 September 2026.
