VOUCHERS FOR PUBLISHING IN OPEN ACCESS IN HYBRID JOURNALS FROM SPRINGER NATURE IN 2025

Within the Springer Nature consortium, the University of Primorska in 2025 has 17 vouchers available for free open publications in publisher’s hybrid journals, which are included in the list of eligible journals.

After the voucher quota is used the publications in hybrid journals and publications in publisher’s Gold Open Access journals are subject to the regular APC (Article Processing Charge) price.

Vouchers are valid for the following type of publications in the publisher’s hybrid journals: Original Paper, Review Paper, Brief Communication and Continuing Education.

General Terms and Conditions:

• vouchers can be used for articles accepted for publication in 2025,
• to be eligible for the University of Primorska voucher, the corresponding author must be from the University of Primorska and must provide the correct institutional details,
• the author must identify himself with the official email address (.upr.si) of the University of Primorska,
• the author selects the open access option within the consortium in the publisher’s system.
