UP UNIVERSITY LIBRARY ENTERED THE REGISTER OF LIBRARIES

Based on the Article 38 of the Librarianship Act (Official Gazette of the RS, no. 87/01, 96/02 – ZUJIK and 92/15) and Article 4 of the Rules on the libraries register (Official Gazette of the RS, no. 74/17) the National and University Library entered UP University Library in the register of libraries.

On 18 September 2024 the UP University Library was registered in the register of libraries under the serial number 226.

Register of libraries is a public record in which information is kept about libraries that perform public service in the Republic of Slovenia. In accordance with the Librarianship Act it is managed and maintained in electronic form by National and University Library.

National and UniversityLibrary issues a decision on registration based on the fulfilment of the conditions for the implementation of the library’s public service.
