WEBINAR: ELECTRONIC LABORATORY NOTEBOOKS

On Thursday, 19 September 2024, from 10.30 to 12.00 you are invited to the webinar Electronic Laboratory Notebooks  that will be organised within the project SPOZNAJ (Support for the Implementation of Open Science Principles in Slovenia). The presentation will be held in Slovenian. Subtitles in Slovenian and English will be provided after the webinar, which will be available for later viewing on the Arnes Video platform >>

Two electronic laboratory notebooks will be presented, which are the result of the work of Slovenian researchers, namely SciNote and Quipnex. The general characteristics of electronic laboratory notebooks, their operation, target users and comparison with other typical digital tools (eg Microsoft Excel) will be presented. You will also learn how electronic laboratory notebooks fit into the story of open science and how they can simplify the handling of research data.

Lecturers will be dr. Matjaž Hren (SciNote, LLC) and dr. Luka Suhadolnik (Quipnex d.o.o.).
