OPEN ACCESS PUBLISHING BENEFITS IN 2024 – COSEC CONSORTIUM
As part of participation in the COSEC Consortium, correspondence authors of the University of Primorska can benefit from the following open access publishing agreements:
SAGE
- Unlimited open access publishing in the journals listed in the Sage Hybrid tab,
- 20% reduction in article publication costs (APC) in journals listed in Gold Open Access (Sage Gold tab).
TAYLOR & FRANCIS
All vouchers for 2024 are used.
The contract with publisher Taylor & Francis in 2024 includes 85 vouchers for the entire consortium in Open Select Standard hybrid journals (2.153 journals) and a 5% discount on the payment of APCs in other Open Select hybrid journals (34 journals).
IMPORTANT: When submitting an article, the author should select the English name of the institution – University of Primorska.
- 25 vouchers are available at the consortium level.
American Psychological Association (APA)
Voucher is used.
- One voucher is available (for all members of the consortium together, not for each consortium member individually; UP FAMNIT and UP PEF are consortium members at UP).
BRILL
- 50% reduction in article publication costs (APC) for authors from Slovenia who wish to publish in one of the journals of the publisher
IWA PUBLISHING
- Free publication applies to correspondent authors from Slovenia in one of the 15 IWA Publishing journals listed.
EDWARD ELGAR PUBLISHING
- Reduction of publication costs for correspondent authors from Slovenia.
