WEBINAR: NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF OPEN SCIENCE

On Thursday, 7 December 2023, from 10.30 to 12.00 you are invited to the webinar National Infrastructure of Open Science that will be organised within the project SPOZNAJ (Support for the Implementation of Open Science Principles in Slovenia). In the webinar, you will learn about some essential elements of the national infrastructure of Open Science, which are stated in Article 12 of the official document Uredba o izvajanju znanstvenoraziskovalnega dela v skladu z načeli odprte znanosti. Focus will be on the National Open Science Portal presentation, the definition of types of repositories, and the presentation of individual Slovenian institutional, general and regional repositories. Representatives of the repositories will participate in the discussion after the presentation in order to provide as much quality information as possible about how repositories can enable researchers to act in accordance with the principles of Open Science.

Lecturers will be Dr. Milan Ojsteršek (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor) and Peter Čerče (ZRS Koper).
