WEBINAR: INTRODUCTION TO RESEARCH DATA HANDLING ACCORDING TO FAIR PRINCIPLES
On Thursday, 7 March 2024, from 10.30 to 12.00 you are invited to the webinar Introduction to research data handling according to FAIR principles (Uvod v ravnanje z raziskovalnimi podatki po načelih FAIR) that will be organised within the project SPOZNAJ (Support for the Implementation of Open Science Principles in Slovenia). The presentation will be held in Slovenian. Subtitles in Slovenian and English will be provided after the webinar, which will be available for later viewing on the Arnes Video platform >>
Public policies in the field of scientific research work in the European Research Area and also in Slovenia require the sharing of research results according to the FAIR principles. This way of sharing research results enables the reproducibility of research and the use of results in other research. In current practice, researchers have mostly shared research results in the form of scientific publications (articles, monographs, publications in anthologies, etc.). Sharing according to FAIR principles presupposes that researchers provide access to other forms of results, including research data. At the webinar the FAIR principles will be presented and ways to verify the assurance of the FAIR principles when sharing research results.
Lecturer will be Dr. Miro Pušnik (CTK).
