WEBINAR: GEONETWORK PLATFORM FOR MULTIDISCIPLINARY KARST (META)DATA

On Thursday, 30 May 2024, from 10.30 to 12.00 you are invited to the webinar GeoNetwork platform for multidisciplinary karst (meta)data  that will be organised within the project SPOZNAJ (Support for the Implementation of Open Science Principles in Slovenia). The IZRK Metadata Portal was developed between 2021 and 2022 at the Karst Research Institute ZRC SAZU with the help of the GeoNetwork open source platform. The architecture of the new metadata portal is compliant with FAIR data principles and data lifecycle, and is collecting and mapping various datasets, databases, research sites and instruments, virtual laboratories, workflows, and codes. The portal offers data for multidisciplinary KARST database and for multidisciplinary research that covers all domains and functionalities of a karst landscape. Moreover, the portal is designed to provide a temporal and spatial link between specific sites and their data as part of three main projects: RI-SI-LifeWatch, RI-SI-EPOS, eLTERRI.
