PROJECT SPOZNAJ IS STARTING WITH TRAINING FOR DATA EXPERTS IN THE FALL
The consortium of the project SPOZNAJ will in the framework of Work package 4: Preparation and implementation of specalised training for operating in accordance with the principles of open science, Subset DS 4.3: Implementation of training for data stewardship conduct training in the autumn of this year for persons who will perform the role of data administrators or related profiles of data experts (e.g. data archivists, data librarians, data managers and data consultants) at their organisations. This will be the first such training for data experts in scientific research activity in Slovenia, which we prepared based on the example of similar trainings abroad (e.g. Data Steward Postgraduate Course of the University of Vienna, 4TU Essentials 4 Data Support, EOSC Synergy Data Steward Training etc.). The training will be carried out by staff employed by consortium partners and selected foreign experts.
The training will take place in three parts, which will comprise a total of 12 days of 6 school hours, namely in the following dates:
- 23. 9. – 26. 9. 2024
- 14. 10. – 17. 10. 2024
- 18. 11. – 21. 11. 2024
Due to space limitations, live participation will only be possible for employees of the consortium partners, while all other interested parties will be able to participate remotely, where there is no number limit. It will also be possible to follow individual lectures remotely. 80% attendance is required (58 out of a total of 72 school hours) to obtain a certificate of attendance (live or online). The program is not certified.
You can download the training program below. A more detailed program will be announced in September 2024.
Please send your application for training at the e-mail address noo.spoznaj@ctk.uni-lj.si. There is no registration fee.
