WEBINAR: WE CREATE WITH SCIENCE AND INNOVATION, WE SUPPORT WITH STANDARDS

On Thursday, 27 November 2025, from 10.30 to 12.00 you are invited to the webinar We create with science and innovation, we support with standards that will be organised within the project SPOZNAJ (Support for the Implementation of Open Science Principles in Slovenia). The presentation will be held in Slovenian. Subtitles in Slovenian and English will be provided after the webinar, which will be available for later viewing on the Arnes Video platform >>

The presentation will show how scientific knowledge and innovative ideas gain real power only when supported by standards. The emphasis will be on the role of standards in connecting research with the economy and in ensuring quality, safety and sustainability. Participants will learn how standards accelerate the transfer of knowledge into practice, enable global comparability and create an environment where innovations can grow more easily and achieve a wider social impact.

Lecturers will be Marjetka Strle Vidali and Petra Berčič (Slovenian Institute for Standardization).
