OPEN ACCESS PUBLISHING BENEFITS IN 2026 – COSEC CONSORTIUM

As part of participation in the COSEC Consortium, correspondence authors of the University of Primorska can benefit from the following open access publishing agreements:

SAGE 

• Unlimited open access publishing in the journals listed in the Sage Hybrid tab,
• 20% reduction in article publication costs (APC) in journals listed in Gold Open access (Sage Gold tab).

TAYLOR & FRANCIS

The contract with publisher Taylor & Francis in 2026 includes 90 vouchers for the entire consortium in certain hybrid journals of the publisher (Open Select Journals tab) and a 5% discount on the payment of APCs in other hybrid journals (Exclucion list tab).

IMPORTANT: When submitting an article, the author should select the English name of the institution – University of Primorska.

• 13 vouchers are available at the consortium level,

IWA Publishing

The signing of the agreement between EIFL and IWA Publishing brings free open access publishing (exemption from APC payment) for authors from Slovenia who wish to publish in one of 15 gold open access IWA Publishing journals. The agreement is valid until 31 December 2026.
