VOUCHERS FOR OPEN ACCESS PUBLICATIONS IN IEEE HYBRID JOURNALS IN 2026

As part of consortium IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) corresponding authors from the University of Primorska have four vouchers available in 2026 for publishing open access articles in the publisher’s hybrid and gold open access journals.

APC vouchers do not include any over-length page charges or color charges; authors are responsible for paying these themselves.

To use vouchers, the corresponding author must, upon submitting the article:

• correctly state the details (name) of your institution,
• use an e-mail address with the institution’s domain.

After accepting the article for publication in the publisher’s system, the author selects the open publication option and the affiliation of the corresponding author to the consortium institution. The affiliation of corresponding authors to the consortium institutions is confirmed by the contact persons in the institutions’ libraries (for the University of Primorska the contact persons are jonatan.vinkler(at)upr.si and janja.jutersek(at)upr.si).

Vouchers for open access publications can be used in 222 hybrid and gold open access journals of the publisher.
