VOUCHERS FOR PUBLISHING IN OPEN ACCESS IN HYBRID JOURNALS FROM SPRINGER NATURE IN 2026
License agreement with Springer Nature for the year 2026 enables corresponding authors from members of the Slovenian consortium an unlimited number of free open access publications of articles in hybrid journals of the publisher from the list below.
Vouchers are valid for the following type of publications: Original Paper, Review Paper, Brief Communication in Continuing Education.
Vouchers do not apply to gold open access journals. Only in some cases, when the journal is converted to gold within the time frame of signing the contract with the publisher, can the voucher still be used.
General Terms and Conditions:
- vouchers can be used for articles accepted for publication in 2026,
- to be eligible for the University of Primorska voucher, the corresponding author must be from the University of Primorska and must provide the correct institutional details,
- the author must identify himself with the official email address (.upr.si) of the University of Primorska,
- the author selects the open access option within the consortium in the publisher’s system.

The affiliation of corresponding authors to the consortium institutions is confirmed by the contact persons in the institutions’ libraries (for the University of Primorska the contact persons are jonatan.vinkler(at)upr.si and janja.jutersek(at)upr.si).
