BOOK PRESENTATION: LAW, HUMANITIES AND TOURISM

On Wednesday, 1 April 2026, at 15:00 we invite you to the premises of the Dislocated Unit Library UP FTŠ– Turistica (Obala 11a, Portorož) to the presentation of the book Law, Humanities and Tourism: The Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Restitution of Cultural Heritage (Cambridge Publishers Press). Presentation will be held in English.

The book presents a unique systemic interplay of three disciplines law, tourism, and the humanities. It was published at a time when Piran received the return of Carpaccio’s altarpiece, Mary with Child and Six Saints, in August 2025.

The book and its development will be presented by the editors and co-authors, DDr. Dane Munro and Prof. Dr. Tadeja Jere Jakulin. A discussion with the co-authors will follow.
