WORKSHOP: PREPARING A RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT PLAN (RDMP) AND DATA PUBLICATION
On Thursday, 9 April 2026, between 9.30 and 13.30 University of Primorska University Library and ADP – Slovenian Social Science Data Archives are organising a workshop on Preparing a Research Data Management Plan (RDMP) and Data Publication. The event willl take place in the Trubar Hall of the UP University Library (Trubarjeva 1, Koper). The workshop will be held in Slovenian and is intended for researchers who want to acquire practical skills for preparing a Research Data Management Plan (RDMP).
At the workshop you will:
- learn about the requirements of funders regarding research data management,
- review useful resources and tools for preparing a RDMP, and
- gain practical experience in writing your own plan.
Various support resources will be presented, including:
- Online classroom Introduction to Research Data Management in Accordance with Open Science Principles,
- Research Data Management Handbook, and
- RDMP template from ARIS.
Presenters: Dr. Irena Vipavc Brvar, Dr. Sonja Bezjak, and Dr. Ana Slavec.
Target audience: researchers of all fields.

Registration for the workshop is required via LINK. Applications are accepted until the positions are filled or by 6 April 2026 at the latest. Due to the nature of the work, we expect your presence for the entire event. We recommend that you bring your own computer to the workshop.
