PROF. DR. JONATAN VINKLER APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR LIBRARY ACTIVITIES

Prof. Dr. Jonatan Vinkler, Director of the UP University Library, a member of the council and vice-president, was appointed president of the National Council for Library Activities (NSKD). The National Council for Library Activities is a professional advisory body responsible for deciding on professional matters regarding the operation and development of libraries.

The members of the NSKD are representatives of all types of libraries, their associations and funders, and are appointed by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. In the current (fifth) five-year term, its members are: Dr. Jonatan Vinkler (President), Dr. Aleš Bošnjak, Dr. Vesna Čopič, Dr. Doris Dekleva Smrekar, Mirjana Frelih, Marjan Gujtman, Mirjam Kotar, Sandra Kurnik Zupanič, Dr. Jana Kolar, Mag. Dunja Legat, Dr. Tanja Merčun Kariž, Dr. Teja Zorko, and Tilen Mandelj.
